Located very near to the famous trulli town of Alberobello.
Trulli Pietra Luna is a well appointed casa with 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a lounge and kitchen diner, plus a pool and extensive terraced outdoor BBQ areas.
All set in idyllic olive groves in a private country location.
Our Accomodation
The house is a typical of the region with 8 trulli, each comprising a room area. It has been sympathetically restored with modern facilities while retaining the charm of the traditions of the original building. The thick stone walls and cool stone flooring maintain the temperature during the hot summer months and the open fire and central heating keep it cosy in the winter.
There are three double bedrooms each with its own conical roof. The kingsize room has a modern en-suite shower/toilet, the other two share a shower room with a further toilet.
There is a well equipped kitchen/diner , plus a good size comfortable lounge area.
Outside you will find a BBQ terrace and a couple of seating areas, one covered and lit near the property plus one under the olive trees.
OUR SERVICES
Welcome basket
On arrival we can arrange a welcome basket of basic produce to get you started until you can get to the local supermarkets
Wifi
WiFi is available at the property and a reasonable 4G signal allowing you to stay connected .
Garden
There are several seating areas in the landscaped garden grounds of the Trulli offering a variety of places to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. The BBQ terrace is available for you to create your own outdoor feasts and adjoins the lit and covered seating area.
The olive terrace offers a quiet and cool area to enjoy the olive grove and catches the evening sun
Pool
There is a 40sqm chlorine pool for your use, with sunbeds and sun terrace pluis two sun umbrellas
Housekeeping
The house will be cleaned and dressed for you on arrival and if you stay more than one week we can offer a mid stay bed linen and towel change.
The house will also be cleaned for you upon departure.

Cultural Sites
Situated in the Valle D'Itria the house is ideally located to visit the wonderful towns Puglia has to offer. Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca are all just a short drive away.
Wineries Tour
I Pastini a local organic vineyard is just 20 minutes drive from the house and does excellent english speaking tours and tastings.
The Coast
The coast is just a 30 minute drive away and offers public and private beach options with a sandy coast line as well as spectacular cliff top views
Mozarella Tasting

Caseificio Salantino in nearby Locorotondo does excellent tours and tastings of their caseificio.

Leisure Activities
​
Both cycling and walking are very popular activities in the area. We point you in the direction of bike hire or hiking guides.
Market Days
Local towns hold early morning markets with local produce.
Local shops and supermarkets are less than a 10- minute drive away and offer and extensive range of all produce.
Local Wildlife
The area is renowned for its birds of prey. You will see many of them flying overhead at the property but it is also possible to visit a local falconry to see more.
